Marlborough (馬爾堡)室紐西蘭最知名也最重要的產區之一。而Allan Scott 是第一家在馬爾堡成立的精品酒莊。1975年Allan 與妻子在 Marlborough 附近買下了大片土地開始種植葡萄，並在1985年知名酒莊 Cloudy Bay (雲霧之灣) 成立後，買下該酒莊對面的一片土地並成為 Cloudy Bay 的企作葡萄園，供應 Cloudy Bay 釀酒所需要的葡萄，但他們在1990年便推出自己的Allan Scott 品牌。
